| While shopping for tiles remember that the price establish must meet the quality requirements. Like everything else usually paying more means getting better quality. But also like everything else you can pay more and get ripped off. So conclusion: if you chose a $0.99 tile you are not getting ripped off. But you must know that there is no chance of you getting a quality product for so cheap. You will chew this one a long time considering that the quality of the tiles reflect on the installation. Tiles are baked from different materials going from clay to porcelain, and in the process of baking there is shrinking happening, better tiles are baked in finer ovens, the material is better like porcelain is better than ceramic. Now there is even rectified tiles (it means they cut it perfect like marbles after baking). All this just to say to look for the caliber or gauge of the tiles while shopping, open a whole box and compare the tiles sizes one with the others, better tiles should be closer in size to each other on every side.
